Design your own car project
During the course of this project, I have learned a lot about Adobe Photoshop. For instance, I learned how to edit points made with the Pen tool. I also learned things such as how to subtract from selections with the Quick Selection tool, how to make gradient effects, how to make text look like it has a reflection, and so on. Overall, I feel that I've gained a lot of skills that will benefit me in this class.
Portrait project
I have learned a lot over the course of this project. I learned things like how to add a radial swirl to images in Photoshop, how to add a scanned image to a photo-editing software, how to make eyeballs look good using Bevel and Emboss, and how to make unique textures like the one I made for the hair. As I keep doing projects in this class, I continue to learn more and more about the programs we use.
Anti-smoking ad project
In doing this project, I have learned more about how to use Adobe Illustrator more efficiently. I learned how to use the Direct Selection tool to edit points made by using tools such as the Pen tool. I learned how to make a heart shape, how to make a rainbow gradient, and how to use effects to make something look more like what it does in real life. In conclusion, I'd say that I'm just starting to get the hang of Illustrator and will hopefully be able to keep learning as we do more projects in the class.
Movie poster project
Doing this project has taught me how to use tools in Illustrator to make nice pictures. I could use the pencil tool to draw a shape and use the Direct Selection Tool to modify the points I make. I could type something out using the Text Tool and then create an outline of it so I can adjust each character to how I want it. I could also add strokes to shapes to show which parts of a shape are separated from the shapes around it.
